One additional bit of info is that doing the 3 coats will not be as bad as it may sound. Remember that you will probably just be doing the face frames in place. The interior of the cabinets is probably some type of laminate or man-made wood panel which should be painted if you mess with it at all. So other than the face frames, you will be finishing doors and drawers which will be done flat and in your basement or garage or something. This is much easier than the frames. Do think about where the solvents will go and remember that the evaporated vapour/vapor can be dangerous.
