I had my hard wood floors in my living room sanded, stained and sealed abount 3 yrs ago. It was sealed with polyurethane and they did a great job. Being that we spend a good part of our weekend in that room the floors have dulled a bit and some scratchs have formed. I'm not so worried about the scratches but I really would like to shine up the floor nicely. I've used all sorts of wood clears, most notably, Bruce Cleaner which did a very good job but didn't last that long. I was thinking about getting one of those big buffers and just trying to buff it out. This is where your advise would be greatly appreciated. Is this a good idea? Can I use some type of floor wax on top of the polyurethane? What would you suggest? And how slippery will it make it. I really just want a great shine!!! Thanx for your time.
