This is a reply to Henry in Mi. Yes, it is true that a hole was required in the wall to gain access for track screws.
NOT ANY MORE...I too recently had to make such a repair to my home. But, instead of cutting a hole in the wall, I came up with a special tool that reaches far enough to get to those screws.
It eliminates the access hole and the repairs and aggrevation that follows. In fact, it turns this nasty multiple day project into task completed in around 2 to 3 hours.
