PNEUMATIC NAILER - compressor and regulator

Posted by LEOB on June 24th, 1998 05:57 PM

After using a Black & Decker electric nailer, I've come the conclusion that the way to go is pneumatic. The problem is I have no experience in this area. I would like to be able to shoot 1 - 1-1/2 inch brads. I have a Black & Decker 9527 pump that I use for bike tires, footballs and such. The dial goes to 100 lbs. CAn this unit be used in conjunction with a tank and regulator to supply enough oomph to drive and of the existing "home wookworking" type pneumatic nailers? I would welcome some specific reccomendations as to what kind of tank I should get and also a low priced nailer for run of the mill hobby type woodworking./
