Pine Floors

Posted by Stegve on August 4th, 2000 07:17 AM

I had a change of plans on my current renovation and the kitchen floors (very old pine with prevois deep sanding divots) have been sanded and left with out finish. Is there any known long term problems with leaving the unfinished floors as they are, for 6 months or so. I'm stuck on figuring out if I can repair and preserve the original wood or if it is too extensivly damaged and requires a new surface. I am considering filling the divots where I can and "white washing" the floor so that some grain come through and then sealing it. Any one ever done something like this before?
