You might try DIY online.
If the source of your phone-line is easy to get to, that's a bonus.
Locate where it comes into the house, there you will probably find some screw-terminals. The wires that come into your house meet with the wires from your existing phone line at this point. If you have just one phone in your house, there should only be 2 wires heading off into the darkness. Simply add your daughter's phone line to this terminal once you've fished it through the walls / floor / etc. The new cable you're using probably has 4 wires inside, though you'll only need two of them. It doesn't matter what two colours you use, just make sure you use the same ones at either end (ie - input terminals & phone jack)
Plug the phone in and presto.
You'll find that phone wiring is very easy, especially for one line.
