Pergo stands up to our pets, but...

Our pergo floor is undamaged by the claws of our two dogs and one cat. We do like it because it is easy to clean up the muddy footprints. We DO NOT like having to sweep (we use a swifter) the floor every other day because of the animal fur that has no where to hide. At times I long for good old carpeting that would hide the fur for a week until I felt like vacuuming. However, we really do enjoy our Pergo and it is mostly because of our pets and the mess they make on other types of flooring. Lineolum was a nighmare to keep clean, and carpeting did trap too much of the dander and fur. If I wer you, I would usse Pergo despite the need for sweeping.
