I was greatly disapointed in Pergo flooring.
We were attracted to it because of its ease of
installationand care, and its attractiveness.
What we found in practice was something entirely
different. The floor is easyly damnaged by
everyday occuracnces such as rocks caught in
your shoes or dropping a can of soup on it.
When we were installing it, just the act of
putting it together can damnage the floor pieces.
The grove is deeper than the lip.
This means that as soon as you tap the two
pieces together it will bubble.
When I was installing, the light was poor and
therefore did not notice the problem unbtil
several rows had passed.

My overall opinion; Pergo scraches easily,
puts together as easy as legos, but looks about
as good when done. If you don't believe
me...come on over.

My advise, fine somethine else.
