Recently, I applied Peel-Away to my hallway floors. While it helped get rid of the paint, I am afraid it darkened the wood. Now, some areas are dark and others are light depending upon how much Peel-Away was applied. Well, I want to sand and polyurethane the floors. Is there any way for me to lighten the wooden so that it is light brown/yellow? How far should/can I sand? Is there a product that can reverse the darkening effect of Peel-Away?
