Parquet tile floors

Jim, the people to ask about this are the people that made the tiles that you bought or plan to buy. Most of the "engineered floor" people have web sites and you can usually find it through a search engine.

The other issue that you will want to ask them about is putting parquet in the kitchen. I'm not convinced that putting any engineered floor in a kitchen or other potentially wet area is a good idea. Some manufacturers are not either and it may void your warrantee. There are some things that you can do to try to eliminate problems, but you are better served by having the manufacturer offer his comments. You might want to keep a copy of your question and their response.
