Paneling Paint Job

many people are doing this now days and I feel that it lightens up a room and makes it more roomy.

What you need to do is:
* Clean down the entire paneled area with a solution of water and vinegar. This removes all the grime and grease.

* Putty in all holes and areas that had nails.

* Use two or three coats of a primer called: Zinzer B-I-N. very good stuff

* Apply two coats of finish coats. Will look great.

In answer to your question, I never fill in those cracks or division lines. this just gives it character.
