Paneling or other Durable Wall Surface.

Posted by C. Bissell on September 21st, 1998 12:30 PM

We are redoing a bedroom for our 2 year old and soon to be born brother. Currently, walls are drywall. Due to many imperfections in the drywall and the desire to install something more durable, I am thinking of covering at least the bottom half of the walls with some type of paneling (which will be painted with enamel paint). Options identified thus far are tongue and groove pine "car siding" (durable but time consuming to install and fairly expensive); or 4' X 8' sheets of wood paneling (does not appear highly durable and may not hold paint well). Any other suggestions???????
