I just painted our family room, walls and ceiling, using a wagner paintmate a friend loaned to me. I'll stick to a conventional roller. The paintmate roller does not load up evenly when you squeeze the trigger--the roller gets "dots" of paint squeezed into it from inside the roller. It's impossible to get even coverage with this thing. And it takes 45 minutes to clean it when you're done. In my opinion, it's a gimmick sold to people who don't like to paint and want to believe that there's an easier way to do it.
