I hear that Behr 1-part epoxy is a good product. I believe the Home Centers carry it. You do want to find out what it takes to prepare the surface with whatever product you use. (A company's WEB site is a good choice to visit if you have any ??'s.)
Also, you want to find out what you want to do with regards to a no-skid surface. Some products come with sand grit in them, others don't but say you can add sand. I suspect if you're going the route where you need to add sand, you'll need to sandwich the sand your throw around between 2 coats of paint, and do it while the 1st coat is still wet.
My best to ya and hope this helps.
PS: I can understand why you want to do this to your floor. But as for my take? Well, you've created a maintenance item. ... Just a heads-up.
