Several interior walls were stripped of paint and wallpaper to expose the original horse hair walls. An alkyd fast drying primer was used and then a wall paint. As days go by more paint is peeling up in spots (like little volcano eruptions). The only thought of what could cause this paint peeling is that people used to paint shellac on the walls first. Could this be the reason why the paint is peeling? No one has been able to come up with any solution....any suggestions? I know this is not a quick fix and am prepared to do just about anything at this point!
