Painting and or Staining exterior surfaces this time of year is....

very risky. There are three posts in the last same amount of days with complaints about paint/stain not drying or curing. You homeowners up north where the nights are getting cooler should put off your exterior painting until spring or summer.

Latex paint will not dry or cure out when night time temps drop below 50 degrees or if there is any high humidity or fog. The only bail out is to use that special low temp paint that does work but its like spreading marigarin. Very thick.
