Painting aluminum siding

Stephen - pressure clean it to remove the chalk.

If after you have done this - you still get chalk on your hand when you wipe it - Use an exterior alkyd primer.

If your hand comes away chalk free - use an exterior latex primer and two coats of 100% Acrylic Latex exterior paint - in flat or satin sheen (satin is closest to original sheen) - your choice of color.

I like Glidden products - Ultra-Hide/Evermore/ICI Dulux/ICI Fortis - are all great products - you can find them at a Home Depot or ICI Paint Store.
