im in the process of buyin a stand up jet ski, and the body isnt in the greatest shape, i was wondering if u would know what it would take to repaint the hull. top to bottom.(sanding, priming, how many coats.etc.) i really dont have the interest of taking it to a body shop and having them paint it for around $400. i was wondering if it is possible to buy paint from the spray cans at a store, and still get a good looking result. i really only want to spend around $100 to do all of this. and i know buying spray paint is probable the cheapest way to go. if it is possible to paint out of a can, i was wondering what paint i would have to use.(water-resistant, priming coats) i really dont know exactly what it takes to do this all, and i was wondering if u would be of any assistance.
thanks alot.
