Hi, Jane. Peel Away is a good product but there are a lot of paint formulations out there also. And different paints may react to different strippers. BTY, Peel Away is a strong caustic and works because the "paper" keeps the surface damp. It does seem to work best on heavy section thicknesses of paint.

You might try Citristrip on a small section and see how that does. There are some paints that are similar to epoxy and you could have one of them. Citristrip will attack that. You might also try the stripper pads sold by Citristrip or 3M. They might be better at getting the goo out of crevises than a brush. Be sure to leave the Citristrip on for a while and overnight should be no problem. Don't forget your gloves and eye protection.

Good luck
