paint on old brick

I do not know what to use, but I know what not to use. I owned a sandblasting company and had several inquiries about using sand. It will damage the mortar joints and change the texture of the brick. Water pressure is much the same yet the solid brick do not seem to be effected as much. Paint tends to run on brick when applied and will surley be the hardest to remove. Good Luck!
