Paint on glass

I believe the poster was talking about the paint on the glass, if this is the case, I would not use a heatgun on the glass. The paintstrippers would be the easiest, read the instructions and use a brush to apply, a glass scraper to remove (a holder for a one sided razor) Let the stripper do the work by not getting in a hurry and try to scrape it early, you can apply to several windows and go back to scrape the paint off.

We had this problem when we hired some painters to paint my fathers big victorian(I was a teen, before I was a painter)they were going to scrape the windows after painting, instead of shielding, well Pop fired them and the paint stayed on for years before they tried to remove, they tried everything and the stripper was the way to go. Don't get this on anything you don't want stripped.
