My personal prefference is Benjamin Moore. Brunning has a wonderful product line called "WallPlate" that has incredible scrubability, though it does have one drawback...It does what is called "Picture Framing". This is where the area that was brushed in aroung windows, doors, and the corners of the room will be lighter than the rest of the room. This effect is really only noticable with darker colors, the lighter ones don't show up at all. I have it in my bedroom with "Linnen White" and the effects isn't there at all.

Sherwin-Williams is also a good company, though I feel that their stores are better geared for the contractor than the do-it-yourselfer.

My advice would be to find a small, Mom and Pop Benjamin Moore dealer. Though you may pay a little more for the materials, you'll get more service and knowledge for your money.
