Hi, Mike. You can get good enamel and arcylic latex paints, but nothing beats a spray finish. Any good spray can beats any brush and the right $28 brush beats any $1.99 brush. As you can see, there are many factors that go into this. I suggest that you go to a specialty paint store and discuss your particular situation with them. Most independent or national chain paint stores have good people that can point you in the right direction. Some of the "Big Boxes" have good people too but it is sometimes difficult to be sure they know what they are talking about.
