OSB for flooring?

I can't believe you'd put OSB down for a subfloor. Plywood is all I'd ever consider (e.g. Sturd-i-floor). 18" apart is absolutely insane.. no more than 8" apart.

I definitely agree with your recommendation to go with gluing and screwing, though -- definitely eliminates the squeaks. You might as well do it right while you can.
