Hi Michelle (and Jason),

Yea, it would be 'interesting' to hear your thoughts. In the meantime, I did some more research on the WEB if you're wondering about more 'formal information'.

Visit The Asbestos Institute to read some background on the 'categorization' of asbestos cement shingles. It's a bit interesting.

Then, visit This Site to 'download' an Adobe PDF File that talks about the 'measures' a homeowner/business would need to take to safely remove the shingles. This job is classified as a Class II removal. (In short, no special 'tools' are necessary.) At least you'll get some peace of mind on this.

I WILL say that I wouldn't do this work for regular employment. I worried enough doing my own home. Again, as Jason pointed out, check w/your Municipality for more info. From there, you'll be on your own.

My best to ya and hope this helps.
