We talked about radiant heat, forced air, etc. for our 12 month a year sun porch. Even though we live on Lake Erie and suffer some horrendous cold we are planning a 14' x 12' sun porch with insulated glass. 9' or cathedral ceilings, the whole works.
A new question, what about ductless heating much like you would find in a motel room heating unit?
The advantage being that we do not have to heat the entire house with our forced air furnace, and we do not have to put in a seperate radiant heat boiler. We would also have the a.c. unit as part of the heating unit for those two warm days a year (right around the 4th of July).
So what do you folks think about heating with the ductless system with a nice ceiling fan?
Also with our window wall configuration we would not be able to center it in the room, unless there is something new on the market.
