I have recently purchased (had too)an old metal cabinet. I am not sure if there could have been a hutch to it. It has 3 of the "fold down" "drawers" for salt, sugar, and/or coffee, I would think, then a deep drawer next to it with a cover(?) with holes. There is a drawer under this, then two doors that open to cabinet with 2 levels. there is some slight rust, but no dents and dos not look to have been repainted, and has original hardware. The counter may have been replace, and I was suprised to find a wooden ironing board right under counter.
This will be placed in my kitchen and well used, so what is my best bet for refinishing but keeping as much original as possible? I am new to all this, but I purchased my first home and it was built in 1940, so...... and it all looks cooler!
