I'm remodeling a bank in a remote area. One of my guys has told me that the black colored adhesive under the glued down carpet that we pulled up has an asbestos additive inside of it. My supplier has told me that I can go over this with a Henry's all purpose 365 adhesive. I'm worried about future bleeding through of the new glue-down carpet and proper adhesion to the solvent based adhesive below.
Also, I'm not sure how the heck you should seam a glue-down carpet. (Never done it before) Any suggestions?
