Office Floor

Posted by Dave in Illinois on May 7th, 2000 05:32 PM

I am in the middle of remodeling my home office. The floor in it had a good slope to it (about a 4inch drop from one side to the other) I fixed the slope by taking 2x4's and ripping them the same angle as the floor and atteched them to the existing sub floor every 16" on center. The floor in now level and all I need to do is go to the lumber yard to get some plywood to lay on top of my new floor joist. My question....What is recommended for subfloor? I want to put something down that will give me a good solid floor. I am thinking a 5/8" or 3/4", what do you all think.
