Odor from chemical reaction?

Posted by Julie on November 10th, 2001 08:00 PM

Since I finished a project of stripping wallpaper and painting a small bathroom, there has been an unusual odor. It has been suggested that there may have been a chemical reaction between the primer and any wallpaper glue residue. When I asked the people at Sherwin Williams where I bought the paint if that was a possibility, they said it was and that I could paint over the walls with a primer called ProBlocker that would seal the odor. However, I noticed when I got home and looked at the label on the primer I used - it was ProBlocker! Does anyone have any idea of what I could do to remedy this problem?

Thank you,
