Not sure if this helps in your situation, but in my house just built, we have a double sink with a disposal. Of course, the drain came into the cabinet under the sink at the "wrong" end, meaning that from the disposal, flow would go through the extention to the 2nd sink, through the 2" trap and back past the disposal into the wall. Too much stuff for a tight spot! What we ended up doing was individually trapping each section on sink with 1 1/2" traps, both feeding into the 2" drain. Much easier than trying to cram all those 2" fittings in that space!
