Noisy bathroom radiator pipes - HELP!!

Posted by Lori on March 25th, 2001 10:38 PM

Everytime I turn my heat up the pipes in my bathroom radiator go crazy (I have oil heat with a baseboard type of radiator). I have had the oil company out twice to bleed them, and here I am 200.00 later with the same problem. They told me some houses have to have them bled once a month (I don't think so). I have been here for 2.5 years, the house was brand new and this never happened until I had a different thermostat put in. It's only a 700 square foot house with one bathroom and that's the only place that the noise is absolutely intolerable. Can anyone please tell me how I can fix this? It wakes me up every night and it's driving me crazy!!!!!

Thank you, Sleepless in Connecticut
