I am refinishing my kitchen cabinets and I picked
up a Varathane brochure from Hechinger's. On page
4 there are these kitchen cabinets that look like
a wash or gray/blue stain. I wanted that color.
I called the company in California (I live in Wash, DC)
and asked the name of the color, I was told that
it is called Nutmeg. I ran all over town looking
for it. No store that carried Varathane knew how to mix
it. Again I called the Flecto Co. they told me
Lowe's in a nearby city carried it. So, drove all the
way out there 45 minute. When I got there they
could not figure out how to mix it either so they
called Flecto who gave them the formula. It came out
some burnt orange color (NOTHING LIKE WHAT IS SHOWN
ON PAGE 4). We made a forth call to Flecto who then
told us that the color changed during photography.

As a potential customer I am truly disappointed. I
would appreciate it if you could come up with a
formula that matches the one in the picture and send it
to me. And in the future DO NOT ADVERTISE COLORS THAT THE
