No problems glad to be of some help ...actually for a stove top on a interior wall in the kitchen, which was the setup in our previous two story house, you can actually run an overhead vent out the side wall of the house too...the vent pipe/duct will just have to take a ninety degree turn to the outside wall and the duct will have to run thru your kitchen cabinets or above them if you have a drop down area that is drywalled. best of luck to you no matter how you end up. Consult with a knowledeable carpenter/handyman and he can suggest the simplest solution...remember electric is more expensive and I think gas stoves cook much better. LJ
