sounds like its air locked you should have a
valve before the pump and one valve be fore that
one . you should be able to close the valve before the pump and hook a hose on the other valve
this will force the air in the system to be forced out make sure to keep boiler presure up,
most homes are set at 12 to 15 . hope this helps .
there are many way's to pipe hot water heat .
