All you need is to thoroughly clean it with something to cut grease, grime, and all dirty areas. This is important because any dirty areas will not allow the paint to stick.

Use that appliance spray paint that you can find in a home center. Comes in all colors. Tape off the handles, hinges and all that you want to stay. The painting is easy, the smell is horindous, and it takes 24 hours or more depending on outside weather conditions. Needs two coats.

The tough part of all is making sure that you do not get any runs, drips, and mars. Keep the spray a constant 10 inches from object and do not stay in one area any longer than others. Apply in a swath like mowing a yard and have an overlap of previous swath, keep moving evenly and slowly. Then stop like a type writer and start again on the other side, but spray before you get to the surface so you do not get a glob.

Its easy, just practice first.
