i have switched all the baseboard heaters in the house from old to new becuase went from electric heat to propane and the old baseboard heaters were in awful condition.i am wondering now why each room with the new baseboard heater on the side where it;s situated has a black residue on the wall? could this be from the coils in the baseboard heater being new and somehow exerting this film on the wall? i can wash it off but it is stuff on there pretty good.i am not sure what to do or what it could be from.any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.thank you, lisa
