Our homeowners association just installed new wrought iron railings in September. We were told to get galvanized and powder coating which we did to prevent rusting as we live off the ocean. After 6 weeks and one hearty rain, we've noticed rusty water seaping from some of the joints. I called the installer and he says that's from rust previous in the piping and will eventually disappear. Does that sound right? Or do we need to have him return and repair? And, if they do a repair, what is the best way of knowing they're doing the right thing? Thanks for your response!
