new garage wiring, still blowing circuit breaker

Posted by S. on January 11th, 2003 02:05 PM

We recently had a home built. It has come to our attention something needs to change in the garage. Everything is wired on the same 15 amp circuit. I use my table saw daily along with various other power tools (imagine that). If I attempt more than one tool in conjunction with my bigger tools it blows the circuit. The electrical box shares the exterior wall of the garage, thus fairly easy to tap for a new run. Is that my only option or is there a simpler solution (ie. bigger breaker?) What is the least expensive way to fix this problem. By the way, a big safety concern, the lights also go out when I blow the circuit. Do I have to succombed to wearing a headlight just in case. This is no way to live in my new house.
