new furnace pop on startup

Thanks for the reply Dodgeman..I'm gonna call the installer on Monday...They are pretty good as they've done a bunch of friends furnaces and are a "Rheem Team" dealer..we also opted for the 10 extended warranty..

I have a feeling they are gonna tell me it's normal for that to happen once in a while...Heck, I even know whats happening inside..well, I have an idea..

Either there is some residual gas building up right before the igniter goes off..or the igniter isn't lighting the burner right of and when it does there is a little gas in the combustion area..all I know is it woke me and my wife up at about 2am this morning...scared the heck out of us..Thanks again.
