New Concrete Slab and Hydronic heating

Posted by Bill Butcher on July 24th, 2002 06:01 PM

The new slab was poured yesterday and I am told to apply a seal and cure on the intire slab area including the garage. My questions is can this have a negative effect on the performance of the hot water heat in the floor or could it effect the installation of engineered hardwood and the adheasive required to bond it. The garage is also heated with hydronic heat. Is there a clear sealer that is best to resist oil stains without being painted and would not effect the performance of the hydronic heat?
