IF and WHEN you rip up the floor, take a good look at the insulation. Don't be surprised if it's in bad shape and in need of replacement. It's not that expensive to redo.

PS: Perhaps you can ask for the help of the Park Maintenance person. Maybe you just pay him a few $$$ for good advice as you do the job. Maybe you have him do the 'hard part'. Ask him if you can do some of the work to save some $$$. Hopefully, you OWN the home and are not renting it, because if you're renting it, you'll want the Owner's permission. Consider contacting the MFGR. to see if they have some 'handouts' or book recommendations. (You're on the WEB ...)
