Need to clean black attic mildew remains- not Spiderman…

My brother has (hopefully) solved the ventilation problem that was providing a bumper crop of black mildew in the (small/confined)attic. Now he needs to clean up the remains, but because of the limited space, he says he practically has to be Spiderman to work in the area. My questions:
1-What kind of medium can be used to clean of the stains/remains (recipe/proportions please, if it’s something to mix up at home) ;-)
2-In an area where movement is limited, can something be applied (maybe sprayed on) that doesn’t have to be scrubbed/rinsed/wiped off?
3-Will the ritual have to be repeated, or if the ventilation problem is fixed, will everything be OK?

What we need to know is what options there are to minimize him having to become a contortionist or flying Wollenda to do this work in very confined space with awkward access to problem spots. (He says he has to suspend himself upside down like a bat (a very small bat!) to access the mildew, so understandably wants something easy/fast, but effective.) Is that an unreasonable expectation?
Hope this makes sense…
