I saw (somewhere on TV?) an installation of a ceiling that is made up of panels, just like a hanging ceiling, but it wasn't hanging. The grid is not held up by wires and is not suspended: rather, the grid is attached directly to the joists above, or 2x's that are attached to the joists. Panels go in one at time - resting on the grid by two sides, then the other two sides of the grid - for each panel - is finished after a certain number of panels are installed.
Tough to explain - I can't info on it anywhere - does anyone know what it's called or where I can get it, and the price? Thanks in advance.
