Need help choosing a wood mini lathe with duplicator

Posted by Mike Bucca on September 13th, 2000 10:31 PM

I am going to open my own business making wooden fishing lures. The max length of my baits will be no more than 8 inches long and no bigger around than a quarter. I will also need a duplicator as well. What lathe gives me the best bang for my buck. Obviously I am not dealing with tedious measurements and milli fractions of an inch so I am guessing any basic mini lathe will do??????? I will definitely need to have a duplicator bar. And whatever you suggest let me know where I can purchase it and see a pic of it on the web if possible. I would like to stay under $300 total for the duplicator and the lathe if possible. Any brands to stay away from??? Please email me at as I am not sure I can find this place again. Thanks alot for your advice in advance
