There is 2.6 times the heat output of natural gas in LP gas, to the orifi need to be much smaller holes. LP gas is regulated at the LP tank. Natural gas is regulated at the gas valve. Some LP appliances also use a gas pressure regulator at the stove.

You need to find what the manufacturer intended to do with this particular appliance and use the correct parts. If you do otherwise, the appliance ratings do not apply.
