Nail Gun

I just started looking at nail guns for doing some crown molding work, and I got a lot of questions.

1.) I saw a Porter Cable, Bostitch, and Dewalt at Lowe's. Are all of these brands essentially the same or should I stay away from any of them?

2.) I notice most have adjustable depth, adjustable exhaust, and the porter cable has a quick jam release? What have you found to be the most important features of the ones you've used.

3.) I assume for crown molding I would want a finish nailer instead of a brad nailer. Are there any general rules about when to use one over the other?

thanks for the advice,

- g
