my two cents

In reply to adding washer/dryer and plumb to bathroom sink by kylie on October 19th, 2002 10:14 PM [Go to top of thread]

get second and third experience plumber opinions. do not tell them what the previous guy recommnends. These folks know what they are doing and I would tend to follow their recommendations to avoid problems that then will require a redo. especially if the other two licensed opinions are the same as the first. good luck and post back with your findings. I would tend to err on the conservative side and put in the biggest drain possible to ensure good drain performance under the flow rates the machine pump can do....would hate to have water backup due to a drain performance BE Sure to have them put a convenient cleanout plug under your sink too keep from having to cleanout from behind your machine or to prevent having to disassemble your sink p-trap, etc. to get a snake in if needed in the future.
