and that is to remove all things that attribute to the moss growing.

This means let in more sun, let in more ventilation, and remove all over hanging branches that keep the area cool and attribute to the growth.

You can remove it "bandaid" by bleach. TSP also will do it.

Be careful about using any power washing machine, this will cause you MORE problems.
