Not everyone wants to go into debt for 30 years just for a place to live.
My friend does not borrow money, for anything.
They got a mobile Home that was in such bad shape it was free for hauling it away.
Put in new floor and new wiring and plumbing and lived in it for about two years.
Built a bedroom on te back and then later, removed most of the back wall and built a living room, and put a normal roof over the whole thing, most of the lumber was salvaged from barns, chicken houses ect, and was mostly free, they replaced the trailer windows and put vinyl siding.
They just built on a 25x35 garage with a living room and 2 br's and a bath above it, got a real nice house, and its all paid for !
And with NO house payment, they were able to save up and pay cash for a Mecerdes, jet ski, pontoon boat, ect.
I certainally woult not do this, unless the MH is own your own property.
